This Absinth spoon is made of stainless steel and has a cutout pattern as well as an etched pattern.
It is used when preparing absinth by placing it over a glass containing absinth, sitting a sugar cube on the spoon, and very slowly dripping/pouring ice cold water over the sugar cube.
